WAWI'S high standards start with the selection of the raw ingredients. These must rank among the best in the world in terms of quality and flavour. That is why the selected ingredients are not only checked for their quality, but permanent controls are also performed throughout all stages of production. To guarantee the quality and freshness that has defined the name WAWI for more than 50 years.

The cocoa

All WAWI products of quality milk chocolate are exclusively made from hand-picked quality cocoa beans from the world's finest cultivation regions (e.g. Java, Sumatra, Madagascar).

WAWI quality milk chocolate stands out due to its particularly mild flavour and light colour.

The rice

When it comes to rice, too, we won't settle for anything less than the best.

In puffed-rice manufacture, practically all the water is drained from the rice grain under heat and high pressure and it inflates to 15 times its original volume. Thus, the rice maintains its fine and natural taste and is particularly light and easy to digest.

The milk

We make sure that the dairy cows are sustainably kept and reared.

When nature provides sufficiently luscious and nutritious pasture, it is not necessary to give the cows extra feed such as corn and concentrated feed as in intensive cattle breeding. This not only affects the taste of the milk, but also the percentage of healthy fatty acids.
